•On the afternoon of June 5, 2025, the IET-CBBC Renewable Energy Generation Roundtable Forum was held at the CBBC Shanghai headquarters. This roundtable received generous support from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the International Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Associate Professor Zheng Xiaodong from Shanghai Jiao Tong University chaired the meeting, with a total of 15 senior executives from leading UK and Chinese renewable energy firms, policymakers, and financiers for a closed-door, action-oriented discussion on accelerating bilateral collaboration in renewable power generation.
