中国电力科学研究院教授级高级工程师、原首席专家,中国高压直流输电(HVDC)事业奠基人与开拓者之一,2024 年获顾毓琇电机工程奖(IEEE PES & CSEE 联合颁发)。曾获国家科技进步二等奖、三等奖各 1 项,国家电网公司科技进步奖 14 项。1993 年起享受国务院政府特殊津贴,1994 年获评国家有突出贡献中青年专家。主持 / 参与我国数十项重大工程的控制保护研究与系统调试,主导建成国内首个 HVDC 数模混合仿真实验室,牵头编写我国首套高压直流工程技术规范。 Professor-level Senior Engineer and former Chief Expert at China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI), he is one of the founders and pioneers of China's High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission industry. In 2024, he received the Gu Yuxiu Electric Power Engineering Award, jointly presented by IEEE Power & Energy Society (IEEE PES) and the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE). He has won one Second Prize and one Third Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, as well as 14 Science and Technology Progress Awards from State Grid Corporation of China. He has enjoyed Special Government Allowance from the State Council since 1993 and was honored as a National Young and Middle-Aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions in 1994. He presided over or participated in research on control & protection systems and system commissioning for dozens of major national power projects in China. He led the construction of China's first HVDC digital-analog hybrid simulation laboratory and took charge of compiling the country's first set of technical specifications for HVDC projects. |

He was granted the Second Class National Technological Invention Award and
the First Class Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. He
has consistently driven advances in DC breaking technology, short-circuit
current limiting technology, and the theory of electric arcs and electrical
contacts. |
