*. Author will receive notification by email or phone regardless of acceptance or rejection of your abstract/ full paper. If no email or phone call is received after the author notification date, please check your junk email inbox or contact the IET to confirm the status of your paper.
**. Papers requested to be reworked should be submitted in the method mentioned in the notification email by this deadline, in order to be reconsidered for acceptance.
***. Modifications to the paper (author/title/presentation type etc.) must be made through the paper review system by 23:59 of this date (Beijing time). Any modifications made beyond this date CANNOT be guaranteed to be shown on the final event programme.
The organising committee encourages authors to submit papers focusing on real business case studies/scenarios, innovative tools and techniques and report on work completed or nearing final stages, or efforts that have concluded with an important unsuspected outcome of interest. Any sales pitches will be rejected.
The submission process
The submitted full papers will be reviewed by the Conference’s Technical Programme Committee. Successful authors will be invited to attend and present their work at ACDC 2020 Conference.
1.Writing an full paper
• Full papers must be submitted using the template form provided. Please ensure all text/diagrams fit within the template.
• Full papers must be submitted by Monday, 09 March 2020, if they are to be considered for the conference.
• The working language of the conference is English, which will be used for all printed material, presentations and discussion.
• If you are submitting more than one paper you can use the same email address and password for each paper.
• When inserting special characters in text use the ‘Insert Symbol’ function from the top menu .
2.Submitting your paper
Before submission, make sure that the following material is ready:
• Your paper title, all authors’ names, affiliations and a 35 word (approx) biography .
• Using the full paper template form provided for your prepare paper.
• Your preferred topic area is chosen from the conference technical topics guide.
Once you have the material and information listed above, you can proceed with the electronic submission of your full paper.
3.How to submit your full paper

• Log-in using your username and password
• Follow the instructions in the screenshot and complete all fields .
• Upload your full paper and Copyright.

4.Licence to publish

In submitting a paper to ACDC 2020 Conference, the IET requests the authors to return a licence to publish form for the submitted work. The form must be signed by one of the authors. Please sign and submit the licence to publish form onto the system when submitting the final full paper by Monday, 09 March 2020.
Authors reserve the following rights:
• All copyright
• All proprietary rights, such as patent right
Please note The IET will hold the copyright for the collection of papers, or proceedings.
If the paper is Crown or US Government copyright please email event@theiet.org.cn to request the appropriate publishing agreement form.
If the IET does not receive one of the above signed forms, we will be unable to publish the paper in the conference proceedings, Inspec or IEEE Xplore.
Where will your paper be published?
The successful authors will:
• Present their papers at the ACDC 2020 Conference
• Have their final paper published in the official conference proceedings
• Have their final papers published on IET Digital Library and IEEE Xplore
• Have their papers indexed by IET Inspec and submitted to Ei Compendex for consideration for indexing
Personal data
Personal data will be processed by the Institution and its associated organisations for the purpose of organising your attendance at this event. It may also be used for the promotion of other IET products and services and contacting you for market research purposes.
By providing us with your postal address, email address and telephone number you agree that we may contact you by these methods.
You can change this preference at any time by either contacting us by post, following the link on a received email.
Accepted papers
Each paper must have at least one author registered by Sunday, 31 May 2020 to avoid the paper being withdrawn from the conference proceedings.
Authors presenting two or more papers must pay the additional paper fee. The author must be present at the conference to present the submission either orally or by poster presentation.
Each paper should be the authors’ original work and previously unpublished in the form submitted.
You are reminded that the IET or other associated societies cannot meet any travelling or subsistence expenses for authors, either prior to or during the conference.
